Pool Rules



Please read all our pool rules before swimming in our pool.
These rules exist to ensure everyone enjoys their visit in safety and to maintain the hygiene of our water.
If you refuse to follow the rules or instructions of our staff or committee members you will be asked to leave the premises. Please be considerate of other pool users.


Pool & Safety Rules:

  • Pool is open from 10am - 10pm daily for members (non members can swim for $10 per swimmer only during De Hot Bar & Grills opening hours).
  • Always check the depth of water before entering the pool. The shallow end is the end with the stairs.
  • Children must be supervised at all times.
    - Supervising adults must always accompany children aged under 4 years old, in the water.
    - Children under 15 years are not permitted in the pool area unless actively supervised by a responsible caregiver at least 16 years of age.
    (actively supervised means you must be ready to respond if your child(ren) requires help).
  • All Children who are not toilet trained must wear swimming nappies.
  • Appropriate swimwear to be woren at all times. (please see list below).
  • No eating, drinking or chewing gum in the pool area.
  • No alcohol to be consumed on the premises when the Bar/Restaurant is closed.
  • Persons having open cuts, sores, rashes or communicable disease are not permitted in the pool.
  • Do not swim if you are unwell or have had diarrhoea in the last two weeks.
  • No running, jumping, cannonballs or inappropriate language in the pool area.
  • Keep pool gates closed & latched – Do not prop open.
  • Personal floatation devices only. No floats, stones, balls or chairs allowed in the pool.
  • Never swim under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Management reserves the right to deny use of the pool.
  • If your behaviour threatens the safety and enjoyment of yourself or others, you will be asked to leave.
